ESWC Brasil 2010 – Qualify Paraná

Com uma participação maciça dos times do Paraná, aconteceu neste sábado e domingo na Venom Network Lan House, em Curitiba, a etapa paranaense da ESWC Brasil 2010. Dos 18 inscritos, sairam dois classificados para a Final Nacional, que será realizada em Maio, em São Paulo.

O GoldenGlory, um dos principais times do país, sofreu muito para conseguir chegar na 2ª colocação. O way2many, composto por players que representavam o Crocodiles, conseguiu vencer a etapa com uma campanha bastante regular, tendo chegado na Grande Final após vencer o PREMONITION na Final Upper.

O GoldenGlory caiu para a Lower após perder para o way2many nas Semifinais. Em um confronto muito tenso e equilibrado, a equipe reformulada há poucas semanas quase foi eliminada da competição pelo AIVV. Usando de sua experiência, o GG conseguiu se controlar mesmo a apenas um round de perder a partida, levou para o overtime e conseguiu vencer e continuar na disputa.

Daí para frente, o GG ganhou confiança e derrotou os dois adversários seguintes por expressivos 16-02, mas na revanche contra o w2m falhou mais uma vez e perdeu por 16-11, deixando para o time adversário a maior ajuda de custos.
